Description/Notes: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to):
- Greet parents and students and assist with enrollment documentation.
- Determine CIDOR/Proof of residency.
- Enter TREX data for incoming and withdrawn students.
- Enroll students and enter demographics accurately and timely.
- Scan student documents into the data system.
- Issue preliminary student schedules and enter schedules provided by counselors.
- Secure documentation for withdrawals and update data system.
- Follow up on leavers, assign leaver codes, and notify relevant parties of schedule changes.
- Enter transfer credits, special education, ESL, 504, at-risk, and economic status data.
- Manage health records, report cards, progress reports, and grades.
- Handle phone inquiries, greet visitors, and maintain professional communication.
- Compile operational statistics and generate reports.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the School Director.
- Prepare and send correspondence to parents and report to the Executive Director of Instructional Operations.
Qualifications: High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
- Previous registrar or secretarial experience preferred.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook; typing speed of 50 WPM.
- Excellent time management, customer service, and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work under pressure.
- Willingness to attend training as needed.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to relate professionally with staff, students, and parents.
- Possess a sense of humor and positive attitude.
- Other qualifications as deemed appropriate by the district.
