Overview: The Susquehanna Township School District endeavors to be a world-class school district with performance excellence expectations for all employees. We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Night Custodian at the Thomas W. Holtzman, Jr. Elementary School for the 2025-2026 school year. The ideal candidate will be committed to supporting students, teachers, and stakeholders through clean buildings and facilities. Hours are 4pm to 12am.
Equipment: Uses hand tools of trade and related power equipment, including brooms, mops, floor cleaning and waxing machines, vacuum cleaners, snow blowers, shovels, power mower, and hand tools.
Safety Requirements: Follows all applicable safety rules, procedures, and regulations governing the proper use of tools and power equipment used in the performance of duties. Wears appropriate safety gear, including masks. Must comply with the school district's chemical hygiene program and follow MSDS sheets.
Travel Requirements: Occasional travel between schools, or between schools and central office, may be required.
