As a representative of the Catholic Church, the Teacher serves as a role model and fulfills various responsibilities, acting as both a ministerial employee and a communicator of the Church’s message to students.
The Teacher is hired by and reports directly to the principal. The Teacher agrees to adhere to the policies of the Archdiocese of Chicago, the Office of Catholic Schools, and the local school, working collaboratively to promote Catholic education. The Teacher embodies the ministry of Catholic education and the Church’s teachings at the local school level.
Saint Anne Catholic School seeks a passionate, student-centered ELA Teacher to provide small-group instruction in intermediate/middle school grades. The role involves supporting students in developing literacy skills such as phonics, fluency, comprehension, vocabulary, grammar, and writing. The Archdiocese offers a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary ranges of $37,000 - $67,000 for lay teachers and $34,000 - $61,000 for religious teachers, based on qualifications and experience.
