Position Summary

The Teacher is a qualified professional responsible for fostering a Catholic educational environment, serving as a role model and representative of the Church. The role involves planning lessons, integrating technology, and collaborating with staff and parents to promote faith, academics, and virtue.

Responsibilities
  1. Teach according to the standards set by the Archdiocese of Chicago's Office of Catholic Schools.
  2. Develop lesson and unit plans; analyze student data to inform instruction.
  3. Build a positive school culture centered on faith and learning.
  4. Collaborate with colleagues and communicate with parents.
  5. Participate in school events, professional development, and adhere to school policies.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 1-3 years teaching experience preferred.
  • Valid state teaching license (out-of-state licenses accepted).
Physical Conditions

Must be able to move, stand, and lift up to 10 pounds frequently, and respond quickly in emergencies.
