Position Details
  • Grade Level: Elementary
  • Caseload: 12-14 students
  • Setting: Co-teaching within general education classrooms
  • Responsibilities:
    • Provide special education services and support in a co-teaching model
    • Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
    • Develop and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
    • Track and report student progress toward educational goals
Requirements
  • Active Virginia Special Education Certification
  • Experience working with elementary students in special education settings
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with co-teaching and inclusive classroom practices (preferred)
