25-26 Martha O'Bryan High School Success Coach (Part-Time)

Martha O’Bryan Center is an anti-poverty non-profit organization located in East Nashville. With longstanding history and deep community roots, Martha O’Bryan Center (MOBC) operates programs supporting education goals for learners of all ages, empowers youth and adults in their careers, and provides stability and support services for families.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Provide individualized tutoring and social support to high school students
  2. Support student growth by creating goals and implementing strategies
  3. Lead enrichment activities for students based on members’ individual gifts and talents
  4. Build relationships with a cohort of students
  5. Strengthen the relationship between school, child, and parent
  6. Plan and implement activities with teens and families
  7. Assist with student recruitment and engagement
  8. Provide hands-on academic assistance to students daily
  9. Attend occasional parent, school, and staff meetings
  10. Maintain up-to-date progress notes and data for student case management
  11. Participate in AmeriCorps professional development and community-building workshops
