Become a Founding Teacher: KIPP Catto
KIPP Octavius Catto Elementary opened in August 2022 at 4601 Market Street in West Philly, initially serving K-1, with plans to expand to K-4. Named after Octavius Catto, an educator, athlete, and civil rights activist, the school uses the metaphor of a flame to represent student potential, fueled by community, staff, and student experience.
Dr. Amanda Hill-Hennie, who has served as Principal in Residence and currently leads KIPP Catto, oversees the school.
