24-Hour CRNA Position: 26 weekend shifts per year at $125,000 annually with $75,000 sign‑on bonus over 3 years.

Qualifications

Clinical Skills

• Must be able to appropriately assess patients’ status, induce and maintain anesthesia, establish IV access, intubate patients, and promptly report any problems or concerns to attending anesthesiologist. Cases will be reviewed at random to evaluate performance.

Communication Skills

• Must be able to clearly communicate verbally and in writing.
• Complete, clear and appropriate documentation.
• Timely communication.
• Accurate sign‑out documentation.
• Appropriate transfer of care.
• Effective, respectful communication with patients and other clinicians.
• Regular communication with attending physician.

Education, Training, and Certification Requirements

• Registered RN in the State of Pennsylvania.
• Completion of an approved program in Nurse Anesthesia.
• Maintain certification of Nurse Anesthesia by the America Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) and State of Pennsylvania.
• Maintain Continuing Education requirements of the AANA.
• Complete all required UAS training programs.
• Maintain BLS & ACLS certifications, and PALS certifications as required.
• Maintain facility privileges.

Physical Requirements

• Regularly standing for periods of up to 60 minutes.
• Ability to lift 20 lbs.
• Ability to push/pull stretcher with patient up to 250 lbs.
• Bending/Spooning regularly through shift.
• Walking regularly throughout shift as required for patient care and occasionally respond quickly to emergencies.
• Repetitive motions regularly as required for patient care.
• Sufficient auditory and visual abilities as required for patient care.

Other Requirements

• Familiar with location, operation & process for reporting malfunctions of anesthesia machines & monitors, ventilators, cardiac monitors, temperature & BP monitors, MH cart/box, all pediatric anesthesia equipment, endotracheal intubation tools, hand‑controlled ventilation tools, CPR equipment, computers & clinical computer programs, other clinical point of care testing equipment.
• Uniform & Dress: scrubs or other OR appropriate attire in accordance with facility requirements.
• Follow universal precautions in all clinical work.
• Maintain acceptable surgeon, patient, and facility satisfaction levels.
• Adhere to all UAS policies and procedures.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of all patient and corporate information.
• Willing to serve on hospital or UAS committees, as requested.
• Good attendance and timeliness; courteous when relieving others and when taking breaks.
• Positive representation of UAS.
