Job summary

Advanced Delivery Service, in partnership with Amazon, is hiring seasonal delivery drivers in Connecticut (Orange) to safely deliver packages to homes and businesses. You will use a handheld device to follow routing information and ensure timely, accurate deliveries while adhering to safety protocols.

Eligible applicants must be 21+, possess a valid driver’s license with a clean record, and be able to lift 50–60 lbs.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the U.S.
• At least 21 years of age
• Ability to lift up to 50-60 lbs and move up/down stairs
• Must be able to drive large vehicles, such as cargo vans
• Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test

Team Members will be utilizing the latest technology and safety features to deliver packages to homes, retail locations, and other delivery locations. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring our commitment to exceed customer expectations and make sure customer orders, no matter how large or small, are delivered on time at the right place.

Starting pay is $24.75. We are currently offering seasonal positions and flexible shifts to meet your needs and lifestyle. Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

• Safely drive and operate your delivery vehicle at all times.
• Use handheld device for routing information, and customer delivery information.
• Navigate a variety of routes throughout delivery areas.
• Must be comfortable driving and working in varying weather conditions. Load and unload packages to be delivered
• BeCUSTOMER OBSESSED!! We strive to deliver Amazon packages and smiles to our customers.
• Perform the following tasks, with or without reasonable accommodation:
• Lift packages up to 50 lbs.
• Able to get in and out of van and walk up and down stairs through your shift
