Job summary

Paces Restoration, An American Restoration Brand, is seeking a Water Mitigation Technician to respond to water damage emergencies and perform mitigation and monitoring tasks in residential and commercial properties. The role requires safe, efficient work and adherence to company procedures and industry standards.

The position involves field-based work with possible travel to varied sites, handling moisture readings, drying equipment, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in water mitigation or restoration preferred.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and move heavy equipment and contents.
• Ability to pass required background, drug, and employment screenings.
• IICRC certifications such as WRT are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to residential and commercial water damage losses.
• Inspect affected areas and identify the source and extent of water damage.
• Perform water extraction, demolition, cleaning, and drying activities.
• Set up, monitor, and remove air movers, dehumidifiers, and other drying equipment.
• Take moisture readings and document drying progress.
• Remove and dispose of damaged materials as directed.
• Photograph and document job-site conditions and completed work.
• Communicate professionally with customers, property owners, adjusters, and management.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
