Job summary

The Utility Systems Repairer-Operator (USRO) works within the Maintenance Division of Facilities Engineering at the Minneapolis VA Health Care System (MVAHCS). The primary purpose of the USRO position is to provide supplemental and 24-hour coverage for maintenance operations on all systems maintained by the Facilities Engineering Service.

Qualifications

• Evidence of training or experience of sufficient scope and quality to perform the duties.
• Applicants will be rated under the OPM Federal Wage System Qualification Standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide supplemental and 24-hour coverage for maintenance operations on all systems maintained by Facilities Engineering Service.
• Work within the Minneapolis VA Health Care System (MVAHCS) Maintenance Division.
• Possess ability to interpret instructions and specifications (blueprints) as part of daily work.
