Job summary

Anovaeon LLC seeks an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to provide frontline medical care and operational support in a shelter setting. You will interact with guests, monitor health, respond to emergencies, and coordinate with licensed professionals.

The 5‑month contract runs from 11/01/2026 to 04/01/2027 with no benefits. Expect duties across medical monitoring, triage, safety, and collaboration with EMS and community partners.

Qualifications

• Current Kentucky EMT certification or Kentucky reciprocity eligibility.
• Proficiency in vital signs assessment and emergency medical procedures.
• Crisis intervention and de‑escalation skills.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and patient privacy requirements.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide EMT direct medical care in shelter environment.
• Coordinate with local EMS and medical staff for patient transport.
• Document assessments, interventions, and treatments.
• Maintain medical supply inventory and readiness of equipment.
• Support trauma-informed care and guest safety across all areas.
