Job summary

ACNR Security Services, Inc. is seeking a Security Guard for a full-time role in Central City, KY. The position involves patrolling industrial and commercial locations, ensuring doors, windows, and gates are secure, and monitoring entrances to prevent theft.

Candidates should have up to one year of security experience, be at least 18, hold a high school diploma or GED, and be able to pass a background check and drug test. The schedule is 7 on, 7 off, with potential overtime and rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or GED, preferred
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Reliable transportation
• Regular and punctual attendance
• Effective communication is required
• Must be able to work safely and effectively as part of a team or independently
• Must be able to pass a post offer drug test and background check
• Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Interact with others in a professional manner
• Patrol industrial and commercial locations to prevent intrusions and theft
• Ensure security of doors, windows and gates
• Monitor entrances and authorize entry and exit to protect premises
• Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances
• May be assigned to multiple locations including main gate area
