Job summary

WarCollar Industries, LLC is seeking a Security Operations Analyst to provide 24x7 monitoring and incident response for a mission-critical customer in McLean, VA. The role is onsite with shift options and a TS/SCI Full Scope Polygraph clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Requires 3+ years in cybersecurity
• Ability to obtain DoD 8570 IAT Level II within six months
• Experience with incident detection, response, and security operations processes

Responsibilities

• Monitor network environments and security systems to detect potential security incidents.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of complex security alerts to identify root cause, scope, and impact.
• Execute timely incident response and mitigation activities to contain threats.
• Leverage threat intelligence and vulnerability data to identify emerging risks.
• Perform log analysis and correlate data across multiple security platforms.
• Maintain documentation and reporting of security events.
• Develop and refine incident response playbooks and SOC processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen defensive posture.
• Translate technical findings into executive-level summaries.
