Job summary

STTC Service Tire Truck Centers, Inc. seeks a Road Service Technician to deliver tire repairs, replacements, and general service at customer locations, on the road or in shop. You will join a 24/7 emergency rota and must keep customer satisfaction as a top priority.

Responsibilities include mounting/dismounting, balancing tires, using hydraulic jacks and air tools, completing accurate work orders, and ensuring safety and proper paperwork for every service call.

Qualifications

• Education and/or experience: 1 year or more related work experience helpful.
• Language: read/interpret safety rules; write routine correspondence; speak effectively.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Ability to follow written, oral, or diagram instructions.
• Driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour Emergency Road Service and be on-call as needed.
• Mount, dismount, balance, replace, and repair truck tires at STTC or customer sites.
• Raise vehicle with hydraulic jack and use air tools; inspect and repair tires.
• Maintain safe work area; use safety equipment and report hazards.
• Complete service work orders with accurate customer and repair details.
• Ensure proper paperwork accompanies every product leaving the site.
• Keep service vehicle clean and stocked for routine tire services.
• Communicate work performed on tags, work orders, or invoices.
