Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum one year of experience with frequent public contact.
• Must obtain EMD, NCIC/NCJIS, and CPR certifications.
• Valid Nevada driver’s license or border state equivalent.
• Pass nationwide fingerprint-based background check and wants/warrants check.
• Typing speed of 35 wpm.

Responsibilities

• Answer Emergency and non-emergency calls for service.
• Dispatch appropriate personnel to location or incident scene.
• Respond to needs of officers and fire personnel involved in public safety activities.
• Maintain composure during incidents and prioritize tasks.
• Relay information to other agencies and coordinate mutual response traffic.
• Operate CAD, RMS, and radio systems effectively.
