NORA is seeking a Transportation Coordinator to act as the central point for moving organs, procurement teams, specimens, and medical equipment nationwide. You will manage plans across ground and air, coordinate real‑time missions, and provide timely updates throughout the transport process.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English.
• Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office, and data-entry systems.
• Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
• Professional telephone and communication abilities.
• Strong critical thinking and sound decision‑making under pressure.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends, holidays, and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Receive, prioritize, and verify transportation requests via phone, email, and dispatch systems.
• Develop and evaluate transportation plans across ground services and air options.
• Schedule and dispatch transportation providers; communicate mission requirements clearly.
• Monitor active transports and provide updates on delays, weather impacts, and schedule changes.
• Maintain professional relationships with transplant coordinators, transportation vendors, and healthcare partners.
• Exercise sound judgment while managing multiple concurrent missions and maintain confidentiality.
