The Employee Connect is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to oversee Operating Room nursing operations at an acute-care hospital in Hillsboro, Oregon. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, drive surgical excellence, and ensure a safe perioperative environment.

The role requires a decisive clinical leader with a strong OR background and a track record of building high-performing teams, improving throughput, and upholding regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Oregon (or compact licensure eligible).
• BSN is required; MSN preferred.
• 3+ years perioperative or OR nursing experience.
• 2+ years nursing leadership or charge RN experience in an OR setting.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 operational and clinical leadership for the hospital Operating Room department.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and on‑call coverage to support surgical service lines.
• Lead and develop OR nursing staff through hiring, performance management, and professional growth programs.
• Oversee perioperative quality metrics, patient safety initiatives, and regulatory compliance.
• Partner with surgeons, anesthesia, and surgical services leadership to optimize OR throughput and outcomes.
• Manage departmental budget including labor, supply chain, and capital equipment.
• Champion a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and staff engagement.
