Job summary

Nationwide IT Services seeks an IT Project Manager for the USCG Aviation Logistics Center in Elizabeth City, NC. This on-site role leads IT operations, infrastructure, service desk, databases, and network projects in a mission-critical environment with 24-hour support.

The ideal candidate has a PMP/ITIL/CSM/SAFe certification set and at least five years of IT project management experience, plus one year of supervisory experience and change-management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or associate degree in a related field.
• Certifications: PMP, ITIL, Certified ScrumMaster, SAFe or comparable.
• At least five years of IT project management experience.
• At least one year of supervisory or team-lead experience.
• Experience with change management and process improvement.
• Familiarity with full system-development and operations life cycle.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage IT operations and infrastructure projects from initiation through implementation and operational acceptance.
• Coordinate service desk, desktop support, database administration, systems administration, network support, and asset-management activities.
• Manage schedules, resources, risks, milestones, outages, maintenance windows, and implementation plans.
• Oversee server and database upgrades, application deployments, network changes, and cloud infrastructure.
• Coordinate incident, problem, change, request, and release-management activities using Government-approved ITSM tools.
• Monitor service desk workload, tickets, incidents, and service-level performance.
• Support 24/7 customer-service operations including after-hours upgrades, outages, and failures.
• Coordinate remediation in development, staging, training, production, and DR environments.
