Job summary

Dauch is seeking an Operations Manager for our Sanford, NC facility. You'll oversee daily operations of a 24/7 forging operation, enhancing production schedules and customer commitments.

This role demands expertise in Lean manufacturing and Kaizen methodologies to drive performance improvements and cultivate a culture of operational excellence. Ideal candidates will have strong leadership skills and experience in a high-volume, multi-shift environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive manufacturing experience, preferably in forging or heavy industrial environments.
• Proven leadership experience managing multi-shift operations in a high-volume production setting.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and demonstrated success in transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations across a 4-shift, 24/7 forging facility.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and performance across shifts.
• Champion safety by enforcing EHS standards.
