PetVet Care Centers’ Northside Emergency Pet Clinic in Westminster, CO is seeking an experienced Emergency Veterinarian to join a busy 24/7 ER team. You will deliver high-quality care alongside veterinarians, technicians and support staff, collaborating with the Hospital Manager and Regional Director to ensure top patient outcomes.

The role requires a DVM/VMD, a current State license, and DEA registration, with at least 1 year in emergency practice.

Qualifikationen

• DVM or VMD from an accredited college or university.
• Current State Veterinary License is required.
• DEA registration must be obtained and maintained.
• 1+ years of experience in emergency practice.
• Strong diagnostic and clinical skills.
• Excellent surgical and dental skills.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commitment to compassionate, high-quality veterinary care.
• Effective communication with medical staff and clients.

• Comprehensive patient exams and medical work-ups.
• Client communication and education.
• Perform diagnostic procedures and surgery.
• Maintain accurate medical records.
• Pharmacy duties including prescribing medications and controlled substances protocols.

• Collaborate with Hospital Manager on priorities.
• Evaluate and monitor hospital protocols from intake to discharge.
• Attend daily rounds when possible to ensure high standards.
• Participate in practice management updates and training.
