PetVet Care Centers is seeking an Emergency Veterinarian for Northside Emergency Pet Clinic in Westminster, Colorado. You will provide high-quality emergency medical care and work with a team of veterinarians, technicians, and support staff to stabilize and treat critically ill patients.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an accredited school.
• Current valid State Veterinary License.
• DEA registration must be obtained and maintained.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in emergency practice.
• Strong diagnostic and clinical skills; surgical and dental proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive patient exams and medical work-ups.
• Client communication and education.
• Performing diagnostic procedures and surgery.
• Maintaining accurate medical records.
• Pharmacy duties including prescribing medications and controlled substances.
• Promote teamwork and staff efficiency.
• Collaborate with Hospital Manager on weekly priorities.
• Monitor hospital protocols from intake to discharge.
