Job summary

Coho Integrated Solutions is seeking a qualified Domestic Abuse Victim Advocate (DAVA) in Eielson, Alaska to support the Air Force Family Advocacy Program. The advocate provides crisis intervention, safety planning, case management, and resource coordination for victims while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Criminal Justice, or related).
• Must possess or obtain Basic Advocate credential with CI/ISI designation under NVC program within six months of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 response to victims of domestic abuse.
• Explain services, reporting options, confidentiality limits, and voluntary participation.
• Provide information on military and civilian resources and protective orders.
• Conduct risk assessments and notify leadership when imminent risk identified.
• Develop safety plans and provide case management, referrals, and support.
• Accompany victims to appointments and coordinate with clinicians and community resources.
• Support community response initiatives and establish partnerships with local agencies.
