Job summary

Abacus Technology is looking for a Network Administrator in Sumter, SC to provide 24/7 technical support for the AFCENT Network Operations and Security Center. Ideal candidates will have 3+ years of experience, Security+, CCNA or Network+ certifications, and must hold a Secret clearance.

This full-time position involves troubleshooting and implementing solutions on a variety of systems and network infrastructure. Candidates should be prepared to cover shifts outside of normal hours and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in systems and network support.
• Must hold Security+ certification or equivalent.
• Must be a US citizen with a current Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 IT help desk technical support to AFCENT.
• Troubleshoot issues on network infrastructure and systems.
• Monitor system/network performance metrics.
• Escalate complex issues to senior engineers.
• Provide LAN and WAN support.

Skills

Security+ certification

CCNA or Network+ certification

ITIL Foundations certification

Strong communication skills
