Job summary

The Enterprise Data Center Service Technician - SBE at Aramark supports GM's 24/7 Enterprise Data Center, focusing on safe operation and reliability of critical facility infrastructure. You will work as part of a six-person team with rotating 12-hour shifts, nights, weekends, holidays, and emergencies to ensure continuous uptime.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Facilities Management, Engineering Technology, HVAC, or related field.
• Five years of experience operating or maintaining mission-critical facilities.
• Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical building systems.
• Experience with chilled water plants and commercial HVAC.
• Familiarity with UPS, generators, transfer switches, and critical power distribution.
• Experience using CMMS systems (Maximo preferred).
• Working knowledge of Building Automation Systems (BAS).
• Ability to read one-line electrical diagrams, P&IDs, and equipment drawings.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary operations representative during assigned shifts, coordinating with IT, reliability, and maintenance teams.
• Provide continuous operational support for 24/7 Enterprise Data Center.
• Perform routine rounds and document equipment status.
• Respond to alarms, abnormal conditions, and facility emergencies.
• Complete shift turnover reports and operational logs.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
