Job summary

CACI International Inc is seeking a Cyber Monitoring Analyst to join the Cyber Security Incident Response Team for the AF DCGS program at Langley AFB, VA. This role requires a TS/SCI clearance and a background in system administration or security monitoring.

You will monitor alerts, analyze logs with ELK, triage incidents, and document case timelines while supporting a 24/7 operation including weekends and holidays. Strong written and verbal communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS or related field with 5 years of cyber ops or monitoring experience.
• DOD 8140 (8570) IAT Level II (Security+ or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor security alerts and logs for threats across the OA DCGS weapon system.
• Use ELK/Elastic Stack for real-time log analysis and incident visibility.
• Escalate events via ticketing systems to Tier 1–3 and external stakeholders as needed.
• Follow SOPs and IR playbooks to ensure consistent monitoring practices.
• Document incident timelines and post-incident reviews for compliance.
• Review SIEM alerts and threat intel to identify IOCs and anomalous activity.
• Collaborate with IR, threat hunting, and vulnerability teams for handoffs.
• Operate independently during shifts in a 24/7 monitoring environment.
