Job summary

Gryphon Place in Michigan is seeking a Crisis Manager to lead the MiCAL statewide crisis line. The role provides day-to-day leadership, supervises crisis staff, ensures clinical standards, and aligns services with contracts.

You will manage 24/7 operations, collaborate with training, credentialing, quality improvement, and scheduling teams, and support staff wellbeing and retention while upholding confidentiality and crisis protocol.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related behavioral health field.
• Current clinical licensure in Michigan (LMSW, LPC, LP, or equivalent).
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in behavioral health or crisis services.
• Minimum 1–3 years of supervisory or management experience.
• Certified Crisis Specialist (or ability to certify within 1 year).
• Must be a resident of Michigan.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership and oversight of MiCAL crisis services.
• Supervise Crisis Supervisors and coach shift leaders.
• Ensure 24/7 operations coverage and smooth handoffs.
• Maintain clinical practice alignment and escalation protocols.
• Support staffing, scheduling, and performance management.
