Job Title : Information Technology - Solutions Architect

Location : Remote (Based in New Jersey - Preferred)

Must be eligible for a Government Clearance

Responsibilities

• This role is responsible for Technical Architecture delivery and support. It reports under the Architecture Delivery organization within Digital Nexus to serve the firm's technology transformation needs. The focus is to evaluate solution options, document architecture proposals, and consult with implementation teams to ensure architecture guidelines are maintained.
• Provide technical design and architectural leadership in Azure Cloud technologies (IaaS / PaaS / SaaS), M365, and Microsoft Power Platform solutions.
• Conduct consultations with functional and technology domain experts to evaluate solution options.
• Develop Technical Architecture Proposal documentation and communicate solutions across standard TOGAF Architecture Layers (including Data, Applications, Network, Security).
• Participate in research and development of roadmaps, including product selection, upgrades, projects, and milestones.
• Collaborate with project teams to assist in solution implementation by providing architectural guidance to application, engineering, and operations teams.
• Contribute to the Architecture community of Practice with patterns, standards, and reference architecture for consistency and integration across technology portfolios.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience migrating platforms and applications from On-premises to Cloud platforms.
• Working knowledge of hybrid and IaaS integrations, including networking, tenant subscriptions, and cloud frameworks.
• Experience with Government Clouds (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, or others) and designing infrastructure compliant with NIST requirements. Azure Solution Architect Certification is preferred but not mandatory.
• Deep knowledge of Azure Cloud Architecture, including web-based PaaS and DaaS services, Azure Sentinel, Azure M365, Azure Defender, Azure Monitoring, AKS, Express Routes, Azure DNS, APIM, App Service Plan, SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Ability to develop presentations, architecture roadmaps, and communicate ideas effectively to all management levels and technical audiences.
• Experience with IT frameworks like ITIL, TOGAF, or similar to define models aligning business and technical capabilities.
• Experience with integration architecture involving Databricks, MuleSoft is a plus.
• Experience with Enterprise Architecture Management tools like SAP LeanIX is preferred.
