Job summary

Jimmy T. Wood, Inc. is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator in Memphis, TN. You will safely handle bulk material with heavy equipment, perform pre-trip inspections, and complete daily paperwork in a warehouse setting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of heavy equipment experience such as front end loader, excavator, dozer, trackhoe. Not a forklift position.
• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and transportation required.
• Minimum 1–3 years’ experience operating heavy equipment including front-end loader, bulldozer, excavator, and heavy forklift.
• Ability to safely lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to work varied hours including weekends, holidays, evenings, and/or overnight shifts.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for the safe, efficient, environmentally responsible handling of material and operation of equipment.
