Qualifications

• Some knowledge of ROSS, NWA, SharePoint, or similar systems preferred.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Understanding of quality manufacturing principles such as HACCP, GMP, and SQF standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct line checks, first case checks, and beaker weights to ensure ongoing product quality.
• Review and sign off on MVI jobs; pull reports and add jobs as needed.
• Perform analytical tests, such as titrations and specification reviews.
• Verify sanitation procedures and environmental monitoring.
• Manage product hold status: tagging, logging, investigating, and updating systems.
• Investigate customer complaints and pull retain samples and production documentation.
• Document and report findings in accordance with food safety protocols.

Overview

QA Technician - 3rd shift at Litehouse Inc.

Location: Danville, VA

Shift: 3rd shift, 11:00pm-7:30am M-F

Starting pay: $18.44/hr

Additional Pay: 2nd shift is $1.50/hr, 3rd/D/C Shift is $3/hr

What You Will Do

• Conduct line checks, first case checks, and beaker weights to ensure ongoing product quality


• Review and sign off on MVI jobs; pull reports and add jobs as needed


• Perform analytical tests, such as titrations and specification reviews


• Verify sanitation procedures and environmental monitoring

• Investigate customer complaints and pull retain samples and production documentation


• Document and report findings in accordance with food safety protocols
