Litehouse Foods is looking to hire a strategic full-time Mixer I. Would you like to work for a 100% employee-owned food manufacturing company with an outstanding reputation as both a community leader and a great place to work? If so, please read on!

Pay is $21.39/hour

Hours are 5am-5:30pm on desirable rotating 223 basis

As a Mixer at Litehouse, you are essential to the performance of all mix systems including spice, prep, testing.

Essential Job Duties

• Load ingredients into blender and use pumping and metering systems to produce detailed and complex high-value recipes. Utilize advanced batch automation computer systems as required.
• Changeover/Wash out machinery between jobs. Adhere to strict allergen guidelines and detailed wash requirements.
• Maintain a clean work area and participate in housekeeping throughout the facility and grounds.
• Utilize data collection system to maintain inventory accuracy and traceability, using scanner to implement FIFO (first-in, first-out).
• Requisition supplies and maintain production records. Ensure accurate entries into factory software.
• Adhere to Food Safety policies and report food safety and quality concerns to supervisors.
• Work overtime and weekends as necessary.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED strongly preferred
• 0-3 years experience
• Ability to use computer-based batch automation technology
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, focused, and autonomous
• Frequently lift up to 55 lbs. independently

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Maintain accurate documentation and attention to detail
• Work independently with little supervision
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships
