Preform Solutions, Inc. is a trusted manufacturer of custom plastics for the packaging industry, with over 20 years in Sioux Falls.

We currently are hiring a full-time Material Handlers for all shifts.

Your contribution is valued--we are a small family-owned business with a team atmosphere. We know your time is important--you will earn shift differential for qualifying shifts.

Preform Solutions, Inc. is looking for high energy self-motivated and detail-oriented individuals that enjoy a fast-paced production environment. The primary task of the Material Handler is to work with raw materials, monitor production lines, complete quality checks, and move finished goods into inventory.

JOB DUTIES

1. Monitor level of materials and add to machine as needed to continue production
2. Move products using forklift and/or pallet jack
3. Quality check product to ensure high quality finished goods
4. Move finished goods into inventory
5. Maintain a clean work environment
6. Assist other departments as needed

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

1. Warehousing, production, or material handling experience
2. Works well with others and a team player
3. Enjoys fast-paced environment
4. Strong communication skills
5. Good reading and writing skills
6. Ability to learn/use company programs using mobile phone technology
7. Self-motivated
8. Detailed and organized
9. Dedicated, dependable as well as good attendance
10. Forklift Experience
11. Ability to lift 50 lbs
12. Ability to stand/walk on concrete for long periods of time
13. Ability to use ladders, climb up and down sit-down forklift
14. Ability to multi-task
15. Ability to work independently

Overtime may be available by picking up extra shifts with management approval.

Available Shifts:

Weekday

1. Monday-Wednesday 7am-7pm
2. Thursday 7am-1pm

Weekday Night (Additional $1.25 differential)

1. Monday-Wednesday 7pm-7am
2. Thursday 7pm-1am

Weekend Day (Additional $1.50 differential)

1. Thursday 1pm-7pm
2. Friday-Sunday 7am-7pm

Weekend Night (Additional $2.50 differential)

1. Friday 1am-7am
2. Friday-Sunday 7pm-7am (off Monday morning)

Work may be required on holidays that fall during regular work schedule; additional pay will be applied per company policy.

COMPENSATION

1. This full-time position includes our comprehensive benefit package of Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Disability, and 401k plan. Start earning PTO on day one!
2. Quarterly attendance bonus; get extra pay for being on-time
3. We offer a competitive starting wage of $22/hour starting + applicable shift differential
4. Shift Differential for Night and Weekend shifts
