Job summary

Fremont Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a friendly dealer to provide accurate dealing and outstanding customer service. You will deal games according to house rules, shuffle and manage bets, calculate payouts, and ensure chips are handled correctly.

Requirements include at least 21 years old, prior dealer experience or dealer’s school, and the ability to stand for long shifts. The casino is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Six (6) months of prior experience or dealer’s school preferred.
• Maintain knowledge of company policies and gaming regulations.
• Excellent customer skills.
• Stand for extended periods of time.
• Use hands to deal and collect playing cards.
• Must obtain/maintain licenses and/or certifications.

• Deal games according to standard rules, procedures, and regulations.
• Shuffle and deal cards accurately to customers.
• Calculate face value of cards quickly and accurately.
• Exchange cash for proper denominations of chips.
• Pay winning bets and place chips in correct squares.
• Complete required forms, records, and documents.

Job Functions

• Deal game according to standard rules, company procedures, and applicable gaming regulations.
• Shuffle and deal cards accurately to customers.
• Quickly and accurately calculate face value of cards.
• Exchange cash for proper denominations of chips.
• Pick up losing bets and cards from customer’s betting square. Pay winning bets and place chips in appropriate betting square.

• Maintain current knowledge of applicable company policies and gaming regulations.
• Must have excellent customer skills.

• Must be able to bend and reach across gaming table.
• Must be able to use hands to deal and collect playing cards.

Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.
