Job summary

Thrive USA Home Care Services is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide / Certified Nursing Assistant to join our in-home care team across Maryland, DC, Florida, and Tennessee. You will assist clients with daily activities, monitor health status, and support independence in a respectful, dignified manner.

• Ability to work in multiple states (MD, DC, FL, TN).

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Monitor clients' health status by observing vital signs and overall condition, reporting changes promptly.
• Support medication administration following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure privacy and safety.
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption if necessary.
• Facilitate safe patient transfers using proper manual handling techniques and equipment such as Hoyer lifts.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning, sanitation, and organization of client spaces.
• Provide transportation assistance for appointments, errands, or community outings to promote independence and engagement.

Required Qualifications

• Knowledge of patient observation techniques, dementia care (including Alzheimer's care), memory care, and hospice care practices
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and assist with manual handling tasks using proper patient transfer methods
• Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and care plan documentation
• Valid certifications in First Aid and CPR
• Pay:$21–22 per hour
• Hours: 10–40 hours per week
