Job Title: 204 - Credit Quality East - Administrative Analyst
Reporting Relationships

Supervised by: Director of Underwriting & Regional Credit Officer - Central, East, or West Team

Basic Qualifications
  • Education/Training: Paralegal Certification or associate degree in a related field preferred, or equivalent relevant experience. Must obtain and maintain appropriate Bank Product Knowledge Certification.
  • Skills: Proficient reading, writing, grammar, mathematics; strong interpersonal, communication, and sales skills; credit underwriting and administration knowledge; software proficiency for credit analysis; thorough knowledge of bank commercial products and services; visual and auditory skills; valid driver’s license.
  • Experience: Minimum of two years’ related experience required.
General Responsibilities

Support the commercial underwriting function through administrative duties, maintain compliance with department policies, report to supervisors, respond to inquiries, and maintain records and reports.

  1. Perform administrative duties such as reviewing loan & ACH applications, supporting loan request preparations, ordering reports, assisting with appraisals, preparing denial letters, supporting new loan processing, maintaining files and tickler systems, monitoring and authorizing credit line renewals, completing annual reviews and compliance forms, and supporting disaster recovery plans.
  2. Assist with preparing commercial loan documents, post-closing reviews, coordinate tasks with department personnel, adhere to legal and organizational policies, and support regulatory compliance (CRA, BSA, Reg B, Flood Act).
  3. Maintain records, respond to inquiries, communicate with management, and support special projects as assigned.

Benefits

Full-time hourly employees receive 12 days PTO, accrued monthly, with usage flexibility after 90 days. Unused PTO converts to sick time after one year. Salaried employees accrue sick days and some vacation. Other benefits include holidays, personal and sick days, volunteer days, health insurance, 401(k), wellness, stock program, and performance reviews.

Additional Information

This is an hourly position eligible for overtime. Salary range: $15.00 - $28.87. First United Bank & Trust is an Equal Opportunity Employer and a drug-free workplace.
