Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a summer intern to support systems engineering in Boston. You'll join a multi-disciplinary team to build and test new products, contribute to engineering plans, and develop tools for program oversight up to delivery.

You're pursuing a bachelor's or master's in CS, CE, SE, math, or physics, returning to school after internship, and must be a U.S. person eligible for export-controlled information; in-person 12-week internship in summer 2027.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Assist the systems engineer team in building out new products to satisfy customer requirements in new and challenging mission areas
  • Contribute technical inputs to engineering execution plans
  • Develop tools to be used in oversight to a multi-disciplinary team of engineers through all phases of program execution up to and including delivery and operation of capabilities on-orbit
  • Assist in process development for mission and system level trade studies and analysis to balance risk, cost, and performance
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must be pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
  • Must be returning to school at the end of the internship to continue academic studies for at least one quarter or semester.
  • Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities; U.S. clearance eligibility may be required depending on program.
  • Ability to complete a 12-week in-person internship in one of our offices in summer 2027.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Strong technical communication skills, providing the ability to deliver critical technical briefings and conclusions to technical leadership
  • Strong technical fundamentals in an engineering discipline
  • Working knowledge of systems engineering principles
  • Matlab experience
  • Experience in Linux

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package. Additionally, Anduril offers top-tier benefits for full-time employees, including: US Hourly Range: $32 - $48 USD.
