Job summary

HDR invites motivated engineering students to join our internship program in Tampa, FL. You will support engineers and project teams on energy and infrastructure projects, learning planning, design, analysis, and technical documentation while visiting sites and attending project meetings.

Work with multidisciplinary teams using engineering software and tools, contributing ideas to improve efficiency and sustainability.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program.
  • Attention to detail.

  • Basic Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support engineers and project teams on a variety of energy and resource-related projects.
  • Assist with planning, design, analysis, and technical documentation.
  • Participate in field visits, site assessments, and project meetings.
  • Use engineering software and technology tools to support project delivery.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to solve real-world infrastructure challenges.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Prefer 2 years completed toward degree with 3.0+ GPA
  • Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to field of study/industry
  • Interest in energy, infrastructure, natural resources, sustainability, or environmental stewardship.
Required Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program
