Job summary

Murphy-Hoffman Company (MHC-Kenworth) in the United States is offering an Operations Intern Program, a 12-week version of our Management Trainee Program. You will rotate through Parts or Service departments, gaining hands-on experience and contributing to the business.

You will execute business initiatives, receive supervision, and develop skills to rotate within departments. The summer project provides a visible impact and a pipeline into our Full-Time Management Trainee Program.

Qualifications

• Actively pursuing a graduate or undergraduate degree at an accredited college.
• Willingness to work 40 hours per week for 10-12 weeks during summer.
• Leadership and sales skills strongly preferred.
• Commitment to providing quality work and excellent customer service.
• Ability to accept constructive feedback.

Responsibilities

• Execute business initiatives while receiving hands-on experience in all facets of the dealership.
• Utilize education, training, and experience to perform assigned job functions under close supervision of a manager or other designated employees.
• Develop skills necessary to rotate within the assigned department to get a comprehensive understanding of running the business.

MHC's Operations Intern Program is a 12-week version of our Management Trainee Program. Over the course of the summer, you will be given a hands-on deep dive into how our Parts or Service Department operates, by rotating through each position in the department and helping contribute to the business.
