Job summary

Southern California Edison is offering a 12-week summer internship in software or data engineering. You will work with a mentor, tackle real-world energy sector challenges, and build your professional network through intern events.

Hybrid work mode with some on-site days at a CA facility; graduation date no earlier than Dec 2027 and a minimum 2.8 GPA are expected. Start May/June 2027; end Aug/Sept 2027; visa sponsorship not required for U.S. work authorization.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree or higher in Software or Data Engineering.
• GPA 2.8 or higher.

Minimum Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Software or Data Engineering at an accredited institution with a graduation date of December 2027 or later.
• 2.8 GPA or higher

Additional Information

• This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for aset numberof days with theoptionto work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employeesare required toresidein the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
• The internship has a start date of May/June 2027 and end date of August/September 2027.
• Interview process/selection process will begin at or around November 2026 - March 2027.
