Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta offers an internship focused on supporting the CyberNET project management and cybersecurity outreach. Interns will assist with administrative tasks, deliverables, and coordinating across teams to enhance awareness of cybersecurity risks and best practices.

SCOPE OF ASSIGNMENT

• Project management - Help support the project manager of Cybersecurity National Examination Team (CyberNET). Intern will be assigned to help support administrative tasks and project management.
• Cybersecurity awareness and outreach - Creating deliverables to bring awareness to the area. An approach would be to develop range of practices, case studies on emerging risks and issues, or market intelligence research papers.
• Creating connections and exposure - Opportunity to join in on examination meetings to learn about supervision. Participate in debriefs to learn about exam results and outcomes.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Students must be currently enrolled at an accredited college or university in a Bachelor or Graduate degree program through the duration of the internship.
• Minimum cumulative GPA above 3.0 in academically rigorous curriculum.
• Must be committed to working a 40-hour work week for 10-12 weeks during the summer months.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

This position will require at minimum fingerprinting for a criminal background check, education and employment verification, along with potential additional screening requirements due to the information accessed while performing the job. Any offer of employment is contingent upon satisfactory results of any required background screening. These screenings would be initiated at the time of offer acceptance and can take up to approximately 8 weeks to be completed. The screening covers areas such as education/employment verification, criminal history, credit history, and reaches out to your references and people that know you well.

For Law Enforcement positions, physical, psychological, drug, stress/EKG, and attending an academy will be required.
