Job summary

Southern California Edison (SCE) offers a 12-week summer internship designed to give engineering students hands-on experience in the utility/energy sector. You will be paired with a mentor, work on real-world challenges, and expand your professional network through intern events, with hybrid work options and opportunities to learn industry-relevant software and tools.

The program runs May/June 2027 to August/September 2027.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering with a graduation date of December 2027 or later.
• GPA of 2.8 or higher.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

• A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.

Minimum Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in any engineering discipline at an accredited institution with a graduation date of December 2027 or later
• 2.8 GPA or higher

Additional Information

• This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for aset numberof days with theoptionto work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employeesare required toresidein the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.

• The internship has a start date of May/June 2027 and end date of August/September 2027.
• Interview process/selection process will begin at or around November 2026 - March 2027.
