Job summary

Southern California Edison invites talented engineering students to join our 12-week summer internship program in California. You will work on real-world projects within the utility/energy sector, paired with a mentor, and participate in intern events to build your professional network.

Open to students pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with a graduation date of December 2027 or later, maintaining a 2.8 GPA or higher.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree or higher in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering at an accredited institution with a graduation date of December 2027 or later.
• 2.8 GPA or higher

Additional Information:

• This position's work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
• The internship has a start date of May/June 2027 and end date of August/September 2027.
• Interview process/selection process will begin at or around November 2026 - March 2027.
• Transcripts will be verified during the on-boarding process.
