Job summary

Southern California Edison (SCE) invites you to join our 12-week summer internship program in the California energy sector. This paid internship offers hands-on experience, mentorship, and exposure to real-world projects in the utility field.

You will work hybrid, split between SCE facilities and remote days, with a start date in May/June 2027 and an end date in August/September 2027. You must be pursuing a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering with a minimum 2.8 GPA and be authorized to work in

• Demonstrate effective and open communication
• A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.

Minimum Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering at an accredited institution with a graduation date of December 2027 or later
• 2.8 GPA or higher

Additional Information

• This position’s work mode is hybrid . The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
• The internship has a start date of May/June 2027 and end date of August/September 2027.
• Interview process/selection process will begin at or around November 2026 - March 2027.
• Transcripts will be verified during the on‑boarding process.
• This position requires you to be legally authorized to work for any employer in the United States without visa sponsorship.
