Q2 is seeking a data science intern to join our Cary, NC team. You’ll work on end-to-end data science projects—from problem framing and data exploration to prototyping solutions and connecting them to existing systems.

Learn through hands-on experience with data pipelines, dashboards, and model development, while collaborating with mentors in a fast-paced fintech environment that values growth, curiosity, and impact.

Projects You Could Work On

You’ll get exposure to how data science projects come together end-to-end — from defining a problem and exploring data, to prototyping solutions and seeing how they connect to the systems around them. Recent intern projects on this team and others have included building data pipelines and visualization dashboards for operational insights, and researching new approaches to emerging problems.

• Exposure to cloud-native or service-oriented architectures

This position requires fluent written and oral communication in English.
