Little is seeking Engineering Summer Interns in Charlotte, NC and Durham, NC to join a collaborative design team. Interns assist Civil, Structural, Electrical, Mechanical or Architectural engineers on real projects, gain field and drafting experience, and work under licensed professionals.
The program targets rising juniors, seniors and graduate students; internships are paid and involve exposure to AutoCAD, Revit, InDesign, Photoshop and SketchUp in a multidisciplinary environment.

Little is made up of Architects, Mechanical, Electrical and Structural Engineers, Land Planners, Landscape Architects & Civil Engineers, Interior Designers, Graphic Designers, CAFM & Strategic Planners and Digital Imaging and Animation specialists. We have offices in Charlotte NC, Newport Beach, CA, Durham NC, Orlando FL, Charleston, SC, and Washington DC.
We’re looking for a creative team player with strong communication & organizational skills. The candidate will preferably have experience using a variety of industry software including but not limited to: Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Activities may include: field site assessments, drafting, municipal permitting & entitlements, code research, material research and specifications. Our Interns work on real projects all summer under the mentoring of licensed engineers.
The successful applicant will gain exposure to a diverse range of skills in the profession. Working side by side with creative architects, designers, engineers, project managers and support staff you will gain valuable hands-on experience.
