Job summary

Spectrum internship program offers a paid, full-time, 11-week experience from May 26 to August 6, 2027, designed for students pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field. The program includes department projects, mentorship, and a kickoff conference.

You will participate in professional development sessions, networking, and experiences that help grow your skills in the telecom industry and your career. Intern responsibilities include tax-related work and cross-functional learning.

Qualifications

• Must be a rising junior or rising senior with an expected graduation date between May 2028 to May 2029.
• Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university completing a bachelor’s degree.
• Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater in current program.
• Ability to travel locally to Spectrum intern development events.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Tax interns will work on a variety of Income and Transactional Tax projects including return preparation, notice responses, tax adjustments, account reconciliations, and tax research.
• Preparation of returns and their respective workpapers; Account reconciliation; Analysis of large data sets.

• You’re a motivated student with a current 3.0 GPA or higher currently pursuing a degree in one of the following areas from an accredited college or university:
• Accounting
• This is a paid, full-time, 11-week internship designed to give you real-world experience and meaningful exposure to the telecommunications industry in your chosen field.

What You Can Expect In This Role

As a Spectrum intern, you’ll spend the summer working alongside two teams: your respective department and your intern cohort.
Department and team-focused projects account for about 80% of your schedule. You’ll spend the other 20% on internship experiences that include a kickoff conference, professional development sessions and networking activities, webinars, community service, cross‑functional projects and final presentations.
This experience is designed to help you explore your interests, expand your network and leave with a deeper understanding of both your field and the impact of our business.
