TKDA is seeking a curious Structural Engineering Intern in Bloomington for the summer. You will assist with drawings and construction documents in AutoCAD and Revit and learn how structural design fits into the full project workflow.

As part of our Facilities Engineering Structural team, you'll work alongside designers, engineers, and architects on real projects for education, government, industrial, and mining facilities. You'll help prepare drawings and construction documents in AutoCAD and Revit, support redline updates, and learn how structural design fits into the full project workflow.
This internship gives you the chance to build technical skills, ask questions, collaborate with a supportive team, and see how your work contributes to projects across multiple industries. The ideal candidate would be available to work 40 hours per week with occasional overtime throughout the summer of 2027 from Tuesday, May 25 through Friday, August 13. This position would primarily work from our office; however, there may be instances in which this position would be provided with flexible / hybrid work arrangements.
$20 - $22 an hour
Final rate of compensation will be determined based on your anticipated graduation date.
