  • Assist the Cloud Collaboration Tools team in implementing and supporting enterprise collaboration platforms like SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
  • Collaborate with engineers to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve user requests via the ticketing system and document solutions.

    • Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • This is a paid, full-time, 11-week internship designed to give you real-world experience and meaningful exposure to the telecommunications industry in your chosen field.
  • Internship program runs from May 26 through August 6, 2027.
  • In addition to role-specific projects, you’ll take part in professional development sessions, networking opportunities, mentorship and experiences that help you grow personally and professionally.

What you can expect in this role

As a Spectrum intern, you’ll spend the summer working alongside two teams: your respective department and your intern cohort.

Department and team-focused projects account for about 80% of your schedule. You’ll spend the other 20% on internship experiences that include a kickoff conference, professional development sessions and networking activities, webinars, community service, cross-functional projects and final presentations.

This experience is designed to help you explore your interests, expand your network and leave with a deeper understanding of both your field and the impact of your business.

Internship responsibilities may include:
  • The Cloud Collaboration Tools team is responsible for managing and supporting enterprise collaboration platforms, including SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Power Apps, and Power Automate. As a Cloud Collaboration Tools Intern, you will work alongside experienced engineers and developers to create solutions that improve productivity and automate business processes across the organization. This internship offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 and the Power Platform while developing skills in application development, automation, troubleshooting, and user support.
  • In this role, you will collaborate with senior engineers and developers to learn how to administer, troubleshoot, and enhance enterprise collaboration tools. You will assist users by responding to support requests through our ticketing system, diagnosing and resolving common issues, and communicating solutions effectively. You will work directly with business users to understand their requirements, identify opportunities for process improvement, and develop custom solutions using SharePoint, Power Apps, and Power Automate. Additionally, you will research new technologies and features within Microsoft 365, contribute to application and workflow development, and help document solutions and support processes.
Required Qualifications
  • Must be a rising senior with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2028
  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited College or University completing a bachelor’s degree
  • Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater in current program
  • Ability to travel locally to Spectrum intern development events and activities throughout the program
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with or coursework involving Python and/or PowerShell is preferred, along with familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications such as Excel, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, an interest in troubleshooting technical issues, and a desire to learn about SharePoint, Power Apps, and business process automation are essential.
  • Successful candidates will also possess strong communication skills and be comfortable interacting with end users to understand and address their needs.
  • Experience with SharePoint Online, Power Apps, or Power Automate is a plus. Exposure to low-code/no-code development platforms, web technologies such as HTML, CSS, or JavaScript, or personal and academic technology projects is also beneficial.
