RCLCO is seeking driven, analytically minded students for a paid Summer 2027 internship with its REE team. The role offers hands-on experience on active client engagements and exposure to real estate development, markets, and strategy.

Interns will contribute to client work, learn to build market analyses and financial models, and may be invited back for future opportunities. Location options include Austin, Los Angeles, and Washington, D.C.

Qualifikationen

• Undergraduate or graduate students entering final year of study in economics, finance, real estate, urban studies or planning, architecture, human geography, political science, or related discipline.
• Strong academic record (include GPA for relevant programs).
• Sharp problem-solving instincts; able to move between quantitative modeling and qualitative judgment.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, with strong research skills.

RCLCO is one of the nation’s most respected real estate consulting firms. Founded in 1967, we provide strategic and analytical guidance to clients across the real estate industry, helping them make informed decisions about development, investment, and long-term strategy. The Real Estate Economics (“REE”) team is RCLCO’s original consulting practice and the foundation on which the firm was built. The REE team combines market, economic, demographic, consumer, and financial analysis with a practical understanding of real estate development to help clients evaluate opportunities and develop strategies for projects, communities, and markets. Our work spans market feasibility, development strategy, financial analysis, long-range economic planning, and consumer research, among other areas. Recent examples include strategic market analysis for Titletown in Ashwaubenon, Wisconsin; master-planning work for the Union Printers Home; and economic development consulting for the District of Columbia’s Downtown Action Plan. We are looking for driven, analytically minded students to join the REE team for a paid Summer 2027 internship. Interns contribute to active client engagements, work alongside experienced consultants, and build a practical foundation for a career in real estate.

• Receive competitive compensation for meaningful work. The internship provides monthly compensation of $5,200, less required taxes and withholdings.

• Conduct primary and secondary economic, demographic, and real estate research
• Prepare reports and presentations to communicate key findings and recommendations to clients
• Provide analytical support in client meetings and presentations
• Support business development and intellectual property initiatives

What We're Looking For

• Undergraduate or graduate students who will be entering their final year of study and are pursuing a degree in economics, finance, real estate, urban studies or planning, architecture, human geography, political science, or another related discipline
• A strong academic record (please include GPA for all relevant academic programs)
• Sharp problem-solving instincts; comfortable moving between quantitative modeling and qualitative judgment
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, along with strong research skills
• Excellent written and verbal communicationA professional, self-starting attitude
