Job summary

Spectrum Business, part of Charter Communications, offers a paid 11-week internship in digital product design. You'll work with two teams, gain real-world telecom experience, and see how customer portals are built, while exploring potential career paths in CS, communications design, or graphic design.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited College or University pursuing a bachelor's degree

• Ability to travel locally to Spectrum intern development events and activities throughout the program
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship

• You're a motivated student with a current 3.0 GPA or higher currently pursuing a degree in one of the following areas from an accredited college or university:
  • Computer Science
  • Communications Design
  • Graphic Design
• This is a paid, full-time, 11-week internship designed to give you real-world experience and meaningful exposure to the telecommunications industry in your chosen field.
• Internship program runs from May 26 through August 6, 2027.
• In addition to role-specific projects, you'll take part in professional development sessions, networking opportunities, mentorship and experiences that help you grow personally and professionally.

What You Can Expect In This Role

As a Spectrum intern, you'll spend the summer working alongside two teams: your respective department and your intern cohort.

Department and team-focused projects account for about 80% of your schedule. You'll spend the other 20% on internship experiences that include a kickoff conference, professional development sessions and networking activities, webinars, community service, cross-functional projects and final presentations.

This experience is designed to help you explore your interests, expand your network and leave with a deeper understanding of both your field and the impact of our business.

Internship responsibilities may include

The digital product design team works with digital experience and engineering to design and build customer-facing web portals that enable customers to manage their Spectrum Business services and accounts.

• They will design working prototypes for a customer-facing portal.

The base pay for this position generally is between $28.50 and $29.50. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
